DIY FUNDRAISER
—Host a fundraising event and put out a jar, or just put one out whenever you have a gathering. We’re happy to swing by your event and give a quick overview, or provide informational postcards. If you want to take an extra step, choose an item or two from our What We Need Now list and add that to your ask.
—Host a Facebook Fundraiser in honor of your birthday, a holiday, someone you love. Click the link above, then choose click the “+ Raise money” button on the right and follow directions. We come up as “Clothing Connection Inc." on the list.
—Host an online fundraiser for us using the “donate” links and mailing address on our home page.
We are happy to set up a page for your event, where you can direct friends and family. Sample here.
DIY DRIVE
—We will create a drive page for you, including your name and either a logo or image created for your drive. Sample here.
—You will direct donors to your site, which will include instructions on how you will get their donations.
—You will sort all the donations, delivering the non-usable items to one of the many donation bins around Salem (at most schools). We will then pick up the usable items and get them distributed to schools.
—Sometimes family members don’t have items but want to support you; we can add a “donate” button to your drive page, too.
If you’re doing this to earn volunteer hours for school, we award ten hours for each drive completed.
